We guarantee the efficacy of your products
As manufacturers of antimicrobial actives, products, materials or technologies, third-party validation is required as a sales argument and guarantee of product efficacy.
At AINIA, we add value
-
Impartial evaluation of the antimicrobial activity of a specific active compound, product, material or technology
-
Recognition within the target sector of the products, materials and technologies concerned
-
The tests are carried out using athat allows comparison between different alternatives or through customised tests adapted to the technology being evaluated.
-
More than 30 years of experience and a team with in-depth knowledge of the behaviour and ecology of pathogens in the food and cosmetics industry environment.
-
We provide solutions and improvement proposals related to products or technologies, beyond the test itself.
Virucidal, bactericidal and fungicidal efficacy
We evaluate the antimicrobial activity of an active compound, product, material or technology. The service consists of exposing the active compound, product, material or technology to target microorganisms at known and controlled concentrations and assessing its ability to reduce their concentration (bactericidal or biocidal activity) or inhibit their growth (bacteriostatic activity).
-
Initial review of the active/product/material/technology to define the working methodology. Selection of target microorganisms jointly agreed with the company.
-
Definition of the experimental methodology (microorganisms, inoculum and biocide product concentrations, technology operating parameters, etc.) and execution of the tests (at AINIA facilities or at the client’s site).
-
Analysis and interpretation of results and evaluation of conclusions, maintaining direct communication with the company throughout all stages of the study.
-
In the case of active compounds or products, the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) can also be determined, which is the minimum concentration of a substance capable of exerting an antimicrobial effect against a specific microorganism.
-
Development of evaluation methodologies against microbial biofilms, simulating the most critical contamination conditions in industry.
