Objective
The SIDENCA project ( Intelligent System for the DEtection of risks and decision-making in response to caNte CAtastrophes), has as its
main objective
the development of an interoperable, scalable and multisectoral platform for the management of critical information, enabling the empowerment of the different actors involved in the prevention and management of disasters arising from climate change. This platform will integrate and model data from multiple sources, combining them with advanced technological developments. With a specific focus on the extreme climate events characteristic of the Valencian Community —such as forest fires, floods, severe storms and heatwaves— the platform will be accessible through a web geoportal, compatible with desktop and mobile devices. This tool will be essential for a wide range of end users, including decision-makers, policymakers, emergency services, spatial planners, civil protection offices and coordination committees in crisis situations.
