Digitalize business management to improve innovation. This is to ensure that companies with a great deal of innovation are able to get an idea in the morning and start producing it in the afternoon. This is the idea behind the European project Flexinet (Intelligent System Configuration Services for Flexible Dynamic Global Production Networks), in which Custom Drinks (Corporation Hijos de Rivera SL) and AINIA Technology Centre, have worked together along with several universities and European technological centres.
The new system developed, based on artificial intelligence, semantic technologies and new enterprise modelling techniques, makes it possible to quickly know when a new order or a new product have been received, what the manufacturing costs are, the providers needed and what delivery time can be promised; simulations to anticipate changes in variable production costs, analyze risks and establish guidelines for action … In short, it helps to make increasingly quick decisions, be flexible and adapt production processes within short time frames.
