Objective
The overall objective of the AGRISME project is to research a set of digital technologies for crop characterisation and monitoring, followed by their adaptation, integration, application and validation, in order to transfer the concept of “smart and sustainable agriculture” to small and medium-sized farms.
As its main innovation, the project aims to develop a novel pilot set of technological tools, or toolbox, for use in this type of farm. Specifically, it will develop an integrated pilot set of technologies and tools, hardware and software, specially designed in terms of low cost and ease of operation compared with traditional smart agriculture technologies.
Activities
- Design, development and integration of digital agrotech technologies.
- Field experimentation, validation and analysis of results.
- Dissemination and communication.
- Technology transfer
- Management and coordination.
