GENERATIVE FOOD

Research into the application of Generative Artificial Intelligence in the agri-food sector
1 July, 2024

Objective

The “GenerAtIve Food” project undertakes the cutting-edge mission of revolutionising the food sector through the application of Generative Artificial Intelligence technologies and advanced natural language processing to synthesise and analyse multiparametric information associated with food. This covers critical areas such as food safety, consumer preferences, nutritional and sensory criteria, legal regulations and evidence from scientific research.
The initiative focuses on interpreting large datasets in these areas to design innovative foods that respond precisely to the requirements specified by users and companies through needs expressed in natural language.

Activities

  1. Research into GenAI technologies in the field of new food product creation.
  2. Design of new product concepts using Artificial Intelligence.
  3. Automated regulatory compliance.
  4. Automated generation of product images for consumer interaction.
  5. Pre-training of models for quality inspection.
  6. Proof of concept of prototypes based on GenAI.
  7. Dissemination and communication.
  8. Technology transfer
  9. Management and coordination.
