5. Types of Existing Cookies
Below we provide a classification of cookies according to a series of categories. However, the same cookie may belong to more than one category:
Types of Cookies According to the Entity Managing Them
Depending on who manages the equipment or domain from which the cookies are sent and processes the data obtained, we can distinguish between:
First-Party Cookies:
These are cookies for which our entity is responsible and which are generally sent to the user’s terminal equipment from a device or domain managed by our entity and from which the service requested by the user is provided.
Third-Party Cookies:
These are cookies for which an entity other than our entity is responsible and which are generally sent to the user’s terminal equipment from a device or domain not managed by our entity, but by
another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.
Where cookies are served from equipment or a domain managed by our entity, but the information collected through them is managed by a third party, they will also be considered third-party cookies (for example, improving services provided or offering advertising services on behalf of other entities).
Please note that if you accept third-party cookies and subsequently wish to withdraw your consent, you must delete them through your browser settings or through the system offered by the third party itself. Below, we provide websites you may visit to learn more about third-party cookies (deactivation, possible data transfers to third countries, etc.):

Types of Cookies According to Their Purpose
There are many purposes for the use of cookies. Depending on the purpose for which the data obtained through cookies is processed, some of these purposes may include:
Technical Cookies:
Technical cookies may be used without users’ consent.
These are cookies that allow users to browse our website and use the different options or services available therein, including those used by our entity to enable the management and operation of the website and activate its functions and services, such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying sessions, accessing restricted areas, remembering the elements that make up an order, carrying out the purchase process of an order, managing payment, controlling fraud related to service security, processing registration or participation requests for events, counting visits for software licence billing purposes related to the service (website, platform or application), using security elements during browsing, storing content for video or audio broadcasting, enabling dynamic content (for example, loading animation of text or images) or sharing content through social networks.
Also included in this category are cookies that enable the management, in the most effective manner possible, of advertising spaces that the publisher may have included on a website, application or platform as another design or layout element of the service offered to the user, based on criteria such as edited content, without collecting user information for purposes other than personalising such advertising content or other content.
Preference or Personalisation Cookies:
These are cookies that allow information to be remembered so that the user accesses the service with certain characteristics that may differentiate their experience from that of other users, such as the language, the number of results to display when the user performs a search, the appearance or content of the service depending on the type of browser through which the user accesses the service or the region from which the user accesses the service, etc.
en función del tipo de navegador a través del cual el usuario accede al servicio o de la región desde la que accede al servicio, etc.
For these cookies to be considered exempt from the obligation to provide information and obtain user consent for their use, their use must be limited to what is necessary for their purpose, and the information derived from the user’s selection may not be used for other purposes (for example, the personalisation of advertising content) or to create a user profile.
Analytics or Measurement Cookies:
These are cookies that, whether processed by our entity or by third parties, allow us to quantify the number of users and thus carry out statistical measurement and analysis of how users make use of the offered service.
To do this, your browsing on our website is analysed in order to improve the range of products or services we offer you.
The use of these cookies is unlikely to pose a risk to users’ privacy.
Behavioural Advertising Cookies:
These are cookies that, whether processed by us or by third parties, allow us to analyse users’ browsing habits on the Internet so that we can show them advertising related to their browsing profile.
Types of Cookies According to Their Duration
Depending on the length of time they remain activated on the user’s terminal equipment, we can distinguish between:
Session Cookies:
These are cookies designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a website.
They are generally used to store information that is only relevant for providing the service requested by the user on a single occasion (for example, a list of purchased products) and disappear when the session ends.
Persistent Cookies:
These are cookies in which the data remain stored on the terminal and may be accessed and processed for a period defined by the cookie controller,
which may range from a few minutes to several years.
These types of cookies may pose risks to the user’s privacy. In any case, when persistent cookies are installed, we will reduce their duration to the minimum necessary according to the purpose of their use.
Types of Cookies Exempt from Consent
The following cookies are excluded from the scope of application of Article 22.2 of the LSSICE and therefore do not require user information or consent for their use:
