{"id":55088,"date":"2025-09-18T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-09-18T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ainia.endesarrollo.pro\/transparencia\/satisphaction-upcycling-phas-to-innovative-materials-for-fully-sustainable-food-packaging\/"},"modified":"2025-09-18T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2025-09-18T00:00:00","slug":"satisphaction-upcycling-phas-to-innovative-materials-for-fully-sustainable-food-packaging","status":"publish","type":"transparencia","link":"https:\/\/ainia.endesarrollo.pro\/fr\/transparencia\/satisphaction-upcycling-phas-to-innovative-materials-for-fully-sustainable-food-packaging\/","title":{"rendered":"SATISPHACTION : Upcycling PHAs to innovative materials for fully sustainable food packaging"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.satisphaction.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">projet SATISPHACTION<\/a> a \u00e9t\u00e9 accord\u00e9 en 2025 avec un budget de 3,7 millions d\u2019euros dans le cadre de l\u2019appel tr\u00e8s comp\u00e9titif EIC PATHFINDER CHALLENGE \u00ab Nature inspired alternatives for food packaging and films for agriculture \u00bb, financ\u00e9 par la Commission europ\u00e9enne \u00e0 travers l\u2019European Innovation Council (EIC) et la SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA).<\/p>\n<p>Les plastiques conventionnels repr\u00e9sentent l\u2019un des principaux d\u00e9fis environnementaux actuels en raison de leur d\u00e9pendance aux ressources fossiles et des probl\u00e8mes li\u00e9s \u00e0 la contamination par les microplastiques des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes terrestres et marins. Dans ce contexte, les <strong>PHA (polyhydroxyalcanoates)<\/strong> apparaissent comme une alternative prometteuse, car il s\u2019agit de biopolym\u00e8res produits naturellement par des bact\u00e9ries, aptes au contact alimentaire et enti\u00e8rement biod\u00e9gradables, y compris en milieu marin. Toutefois, leur co\u00fbt de production \u00e9lev\u00e9 et leur processabilit\u00e9 limit\u00e9e restreignent leur utilisation g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9e.  <\/p>\n<p>Cependant, leur pr\u00e9sence sur le march\u00e9 est frein\u00e9e par le co\u00fbt \u00e9lev\u00e9 et les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s finales des polym\u00e8res obtenus par les m\u00e9thodes de production actuelles. La difficult\u00e9 d\u2019obtenir des plastiques pour l\u2019emballage alimentaire uniquement \u00e0 partir de PHA implique finalement de les combiner avec des additifs ou d\u2019autres bioplastiques comme le PLA, le PBS ou le PBAT, ce qui entra\u00eene une perte de biod\u00e9gradabilit\u00e9 et limite leur recyclage ult\u00e9rieur. <\/p>\n<p>Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces limites, le projet SATISPHACTION vise le d\u00e9veloppement de proc\u00e9d\u00e9s innovants de recyclage chimique et biotique. Le projet s\u2019appuiera sur l\u2019utilisation de la chimie computationnelle et de l\u2019IA pour obtenir des polym\u00e8res de PHA aux propri\u00e9t\u00e9s am\u00e9lior\u00e9es, ce qui conduira \u00e0 des formulations plastiques moins d\u00e9pendantes de l\u2019ajout d\u2019additifs et de la combinaison avec d\u2019autres polym\u00e8res pour satisfaire aux exigences de processabilit\u00e9. En outre, le projet explorera l\u2019int\u00e9gration d\u2019enzymes thermostables pour une autod\u00e9gradation acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9e. Ces d\u00e9veloppements seront valid\u00e9s par l\u2019\u00e9laboration de trois prototypes d\u2019emballage alimentaire : barquettes thermoform\u00e9es, sachets flexibles thermoscellables et bioadh\u00e9sifs pour \u00e9tiquettes. Cette nouvelle approche d\u2019upcycling permettra d\u2019obtenir des emballages plastiques en PHA \u00e9conomiquement viables et totalement biod\u00e9gradables.    <\/p>\n<p>SATISPHACTION est un projet d\u2019une dur\u00e9e de 4 ans coordonn\u00e9 par AINIA, auquel participent 9 partenaires issus de 5 pays europ\u00e9ens diff\u00e9rents : France, Royaume-Uni, Belgique, Portugal et Espagne. Le consortium combine l\u2019excellence scientifique et technique apport\u00e9e par les universit\u00e9s et les centres de R+D (AINIA, le Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n Biol\u00f3gica Margarita Salas CIB-CSIC, NOVA id, le King\u2019s College London et NAITEC) avec le soutien d\u2019entreprises innovantes dans le secteur des plastiques (Natureplast et Polykey), d\u2019experts en certification de durabilit\u00e9 (Normec OWS) et de repr\u00e9sentants de l\u2019industrie de l\u2019emballage (Packaging Cluster). <\/p>\n<p>Les capacit\u00e9s qui seront d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es dans le projet incluent :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Upcycling chimique et enzymatique de biopolym\u00e8res<\/li>\n<li>Recyclage de biopolym\u00e8res au moyen de cellules vivantes<\/li>\n<li>Ing\u00e9nierie de souches pour la fermentation microbienne<\/li>\n<li>D\u00e9couverte de polym\u00e8res assist\u00e9e par IA<\/li>\n<li>Polym\u00e9risation organocatalytique des PHA<\/li>\n<li>Formulations avec des enzymes thermostables pour une biod\u00e9gradation acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9e<\/li>\n<li>Formulation de bioadh\u00e9sifs et de bioplastiques<\/li>\n<li>Application de la m\u00e9thodologie Safe and Sustainable by Design \u00e0 l\u2019emballage alimentaire<\/li>\n<li>Analyse de biod\u00e9gradabilit\u00e9 dans des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes simul\u00e9s (milieu marin, eau douce et sol)<\/li>\n<li>Analyse du cycle de vie selon les perspectives environnementale, \u00e9conomique et sociale<\/li>\n<li>Conformit\u00e9 \u00e0 la r\u00e9glementation alimentaire<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-185486 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ainia.endesarrollo.pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/satisphaction-map.png\" alt=\"SATISPHACTION. Carte des projets de l\u2019Union europ\u00e9enne\" width=\"567\" height=\"319\"><\/p>\n<p>Le projet, qui a d\u00e9but\u00e9 le 1er octobre 2025, aura un impact sur le secteur de la production de bioplastiques gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des alternatives circulaires et rentables aux plastiques d\u2019origine fossile, r\u00e9duisant la d\u00e9pendance aux sources non renouvelables et renfor\u00e7ant la comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 de l\u2019industrie europ\u00e9enne.
