Objective<\/h2>\n

The project\u2019s overall objective is to develop CO<\/span>\u2082 <\/span>capture technologies based on synthetic zeolites from real gas streams derived from anaerobic digestion processes, as well as biotechnological strategies for the bioconversion of carbon dioxide (CO<\/span>\u2082) and methane (CH<\/span>\u2084<\/span>), the main components of biogas, into high added-value biobased products, such as polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA), microbial protein (SCP,<\/span> Single Cell Protein<\/span><\/i>) and biomethanol. In addition, the project will assess the application of bacteriophages as a biocontrol strategy for<\/span> in situ biogas upgrading<\/span><\/i>, in order to reduce microorganisms that produce interferents in CO<\/span>\u2082 capture processes.<\/span><\/p>\n
