Concretamente, los consumimos algo m\u00e1s de 8 veces al mes pero, \u00bfqu\u00e9 son y para qu\u00e9 nos sirven?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Son bacterias, bacterias \u0093buenas\u0094 que act\u00faan frente a las \u0093malas\u0094 y que nos ayudan a estar m\u00e1s sanos. Son los llamados alimentos \u0093probi\u00f3ticos\u0094, que a veces confundimos con \u0093prebi\u00f3ticos\u0094. -Veamos sus diferencias-.\u00a0 A trav\u00e9s de una sencilla bater\u00eda de 10 preguntas muy comunes, te invitamos a saber un poco m\u00e1s acerca de este tipo de alimentos dentro de la familia de los funcionales.<\/p>\n\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00bfSab\u00edas que nuestro nivel de salud depende en gran medida del equilibrio de la flora intestinal?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En nuestro aparato digestivo conviven unas 400 especies de bacterias, algunas de ellas son beneficiosas y otras son pat\u00f3genas, es decir, las que nos ocasionan enfermedades. Las bacterias beneficiosas producen unos \u00e1cidos (ac\u00e9tico, l\u00e1ctico y f\u00f3rmico) que bajan el PH del intestino grueso de manera que inhiben, impiden, el crecimiento de estas bacterias pat\u00f3genas. Por eso, estamos m\u00e1s sanos en la medida que contamos con estas bacterias beneficiosas y su capacidad de controlar y vencer a las pat\u00f3genas.<\/p>\n\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 causa un desorden intestinal?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Una alimentaci\u00f3n incorrecta, terapias prolongadas de antibi\u00f3ticos, radioterapia, quimioterapia, infecciones o incluso el estr\u00e9s f\u00edsico o ps\u00edquico.<\/p>\n\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 podemos hacer y de d\u00f3nde podemos obtener estas \u0093bacterias buenas\u0094?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De esta pregunta nace el concepto de probi\u00f3tico, que es un microorganismo vivo que, al ingerirlo, aporta un efecto beneficioso sobre nuestro cuerpo. Sobreviven a una digesti\u00f3n llegando vivas al colon y ayudando a restituir la flora intestinal que pueda haber sido alterada por alguna de estas causas comentadas y que son las que nos ayudan a reforzar nuestro sistema inmunol\u00f3gico. Es decir, al tomarlo, estamos introduciendo estas especies de bacterias \u0093buenas\u0094 que ayudan a combatir las \u0093malas\u0094, a restaurar el equilibrio\u00a0 y prevenir las enfermedades.<\/p>\n\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00bfD\u00f3nde las encontramos?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El veh\u00edculo m\u00e1s com\u00fan es el de los productos l\u00e1cteos fermentados (yogures, quesos). \u00c9stos son m\u00e1s f\u00e1ciles de digerir que los no fermentados y su consumo supone una ayuda en la digesti\u00f3n de algunos nutrientes de la dieta como la lactosa, el almid\u00f3n y las prote\u00ednas, adem\u00e1s de que facilita la absorci\u00f3n de minerales como el calcio, hierro, zinc, manganeso, cobre, o f\u00f3sforo.<\/p>\n\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00bfPor tanto, en qu\u00e9 nos ayudan los alimentos probi\u00f3ticos?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por un lado, nutricionalmente hablando son muy ricos, y nos ayuda a digerir la comida produciendo las vitaminas, reduce la absorci\u00f3n del colesterol y por otro lado tiene una finalidad terap\u00e9utica en el tratamiento de des\u00f3rdenes.<\/p>\n\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00bfCu\u00e1ndo se recomienda tomarlos m\u00e1s especialmente? <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Etapas de crecimiento, embarazo, lactancia, \u00e9pocas de estr\u00e9s, desgaste en el trabajo, ritmo de vida acelerado, cuando hay problemas de digesti\u00f3n, etc.<\/p>\n\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00bfCu\u00e1les son las cifras de su consumo de los probi\u00f3ticos?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00bfSab\u00edas que, seg\u00fan datos del Ministerio de Industria, Turismo\u00a0y Comercio, los espa\u00f1oles consumimos unas 8 veces de media alimentos probi\u00f3ticos al mes? Otro dato, la salud digestiva supone el 38% de las declaraciones en productos m\u00e1s demandados y les sigue con un 11 % las que se refieren a la protecci\u00f3n del sistema inmune.
