Desde el punto de vista microbiol\u00f3gico, los estudios Challenge Test permiten determinar si se desarrollan determinados microorganismos pat\u00f3genos o alterantes.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"subtitulo-naranja\">Estudios de estabilidad microbiol\u00f3gica, Challenge Test<\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El a\u00f1o pasado entr\u00f3 en vigor la norma<strong> ISO 11930:2012<\/strong>, en la que se determinan las pautas para realizar estudios Challenge Test en productos cosm\u00e9ticos. Estos estudios se basan en pruebas de desaf\u00edo en las que se introducen microorganismos pat\u00f3genos en el producto, como puede ser la <em>Escherichia coli,<\/em> y se eval\u00faa su desarrollo en determinadas condiciones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Es importante indicar que previamente, o de forma paralela, a la realizaci\u00f3n de este tipo de estudios, es necesario aplicar las directrices para la evaluaci\u00f3n del riesgo de la norma <strong>ISO 29621:2011,<\/strong> identificando con ello que productos cosm\u00e9ticos presentan bajo riesgo de contaminaci\u00f3n microbiol\u00f3gica (durante su producci\u00f3n y uso), y por tanto, no requieren la aplicaci\u00f3n de normas microbiol\u00f3gicas. En este caso las empresas reducir\u00edan los costes en an\u00e1lisis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por lo general, el <a href=\"\/servicios-laboratorio\/challenge-test\/\">estudio Challenge test<\/a> se emplea para conocer la estabilidad microbiol\u00f3gica de una nueva o mejorada formulaci\u00f3n cosm\u00e9tica, o para conocer la eficacia de un nuevo conservante, inhibidor del desarrollo de los microorganismos. Principalmente, este estudio consiste en introducir diversos microorganismos pat\u00f3genos en la formulaci\u00f3n del cosm\u00e9tico. El conjunto de microorganismos est\u00e1n relacionados con contaminaciones que pueden darse durante el procesado y almacenamiento de los productos, as\u00ed como en la manipulaci\u00f3n por parte de los consumidores.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>La estabilidad microbiol\u00f3gica se monitoriza <\/strong>durante 28 d\u00edas, periodo en el que se somete al producto a condiciones desfavorables, como temperaturas extremas que, probablemente, no se alcanzar\u00e1n en ning\u00fan punto de la cadena de valor. Se eval\u00faa as\u00ed la capacidad del producto para inactivar el desarrollo y crecimiento de los microorganismos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Resultado del Challenge Test conocemos la estabilidad microbiol\u00f3gica del producto y con ello la calidad del producto.<\/strong> Quedan determinadas las formulaciones que menos favorecen el desarrollo y crecimiento de los microorganismos a lo largo de toda su vida \u00fatil.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"subtitulo-naranja\">Beneficios derivados de los estudios Challenge Test<\/h5>\n<ul>\n \t<li><strong>Garant\u00eda de estabilidad y calidad de los productos<\/strong>. Se trata de un m\u00e9todo reconocido por los reguladores en el que cada fase est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ada con el prop\u00f3sito de garantizar la fiabilidad de los resultados.<\/li>\n \t<li><strong>Contempla las principales etapas de la cadena de valor<\/strong>.
